About

Hi, I’m Alex Gita. I’m an operations leader who came to this work because I love a good puzzle. The kind where someone hands you a process that’s almost working, and the fix isn’t where anyone is looking.

My answer is almost always a better system. One that makes the right behavior the easy behavior, and that holds up when things get messy instead of just when the conditions are perfect.

AI is part of how I work now. Not because it’s new, but because it sharpens things. It takes the parts of operations that should be automated and makes room for the judgment calls that actually need a person. That balance is what I care about.

What I work on

  • Operations and process design. Building the workflows, SOPs, and structures that let teams scale without scaling chaos. Finding where work actually gets stuck and redesigning around that.
  • AI-powered content workflows. Designing the AI side of how content gets researched, drafted, edited, and shipped. The hard part isn’t the tools. It’s making them work at production scale, where the demos stop being impressive.
  • Operational AI adoption. Moving teams from “we use AI sometimes” to “AI is part of how this team works.” Building the SOPs, training, and change management that make new tools actually stick.
  • Remote and async leadership. Running globally distributed teams across time zones. Most of the work is making implicit knowledge explicit so async actually functions in practice.

Selected work

  • Migrated a 15+ person team to a new AI platform, wrote the onboarding guide from scratch, and had it adopted as permanent company documentation.
  • Rebuilt content brief workflows that cut assembly time from 20-50 minutes per brief down to about 5 minutes.
  • Wrote a company’s first unified AI governance policy, consolidated three scattered documents into one framework, and handled a live security incident in the same month.
  • Built a training roadmap and SOP library that cut new hire onboarding time by 75% at a remote content production agency.
  • Documented 75+ SOPs that became the operational backbone of a 45-person remote team.

FAQs

Who is Alex Gita?

Alex Gita is an operations leader and systems thinker. She designs AI-powered workflows for content teams, with a background in remote operations leadership across global teams.

What does Alex Gita do?

She builds the systems that turn complex operations into something teams can actually run. Her focus is the intersection of operations and AI: designing workflows that use AI where it helps and keep human judgment where it matters.

What is Alex Gita’s experience with AI?

She leads AI implementation in content operations, including workflow design, automation rollouts, and the change management that gets teams to actually use new tools consistently.

Where has Alex worked?

She’s worked across global remote teams, content production at scale, and B2B content marketing. Her full work history is on the Work Experience page.

How does Alex think about AI in operations?

AI is a tool for efficiency. The system it sits inside is what makes it work. Operations leaders who think in systems are best positioned to use AI well, because they know which parts of the work to automate and which to leave alone.
